About The Winner
For the sixth time in a row, Valio wins Sustainable Brand Index™ in Finland. Valio’s Finnish heritage as well as its sustainability commitments within dairy production and research and development was yet again rewarded by consumers.
Naturally, animal welfare was one of the most important issues for consumers as well as environmentally friendly packaging, reduced food prices and healthy products. Valio works actively to improve sustainability from farm to shelf and animal care. They for example launched the world's first herbal yogurt packaging which contains no fossil material.
